Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student at her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox made the decision to alter her profession following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 when she joined the band Dragons Playground. The group did not make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She released her first solo album in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'm letting You Go."
