Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage performer who's largely only seen on TV sitcoms. Barone got her first success in this genre as she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a show that aired ABC between 1995 and 1996. Barone began her acting appearance in a stage production at the age of 5 in Detroit in the city where she brought up after her family relocated to the city from St Louis. When she was 23, Barone appeared in over 50 productions. A majority of them were on stage in university and regional theaters. Some of her stage performances included Juliet in "Romeo as well as Juliet," Helen Keller in the production from "Monday after the Miracle" and the part of Agnes, a young tortured nun on the stage in "Agnes of God." Her debut on screen was a part-time role in "The Rozary Murders" with a cameo appearance in "Ricochet" as well as the lead in indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" that was released in the year 1996. Barone was recruited by NBC in 1990-1991 as a stockholder in "Carol & Company" that was a failed project of Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety program. Barone appeared as a character in "Wounded Heart" the 1995 USA Network film. Barone returned to sitcoms with a weekly schedule, co-starring in "Daddio", NBC 2000 together alongside Michael Chiklis.
